We have over 30 years of experience
Our practice has a strong 30 year history in Port Elizabeth and has helped many hard of hearing people. Margie Nel, the founder of Acoustic Appliances, has joined Dr Julien Nel in his retirement. She has handed over the reins to her daughter, Katherine. With the addition of Lene Wiggett as an Audiologist, we are able to test children from the age of 6.
Meet Katherine Pearse
Katherine Pearse qualified as a Hearing Aid Acoustician from The University of Pretoria in 2010. She decided, after a career of being a Chef, she wanted to join the family business. Kathy has been with the practice for 11 years and is thoroughly enjoying helping the hard of hearing in Port Elizabeth.
Meet Lené Wiggett
Lené Wiggett is our Audiologist who joined the practice at the beginning of 2019. She graduated from The University of Pretoria in 2017. In 2018 she completed her Community Service (Zuma) year at Cradock Hospital. She loves helping our patients and has a soft spot in her heart for children.
